Love love love this! I currently have Xanadu by Olivia NJ on loop. This is such a happy joyful song that takes me back to a movie I loved in a simple time of my life

Fabulous stuff. I really enjoyed reading and so many experiences resonate with me. Remembering to leave a party when I am enjoying it most makes life much easier and makes the consequences of socialising bearable.

Thanks Kay for the book recommends - Paws is great.

Look forward to #2 😊

Congratulations, Kay and Anna, on The Overshare!! It was so wonderful to read this first issue. I love the structure with the different sections, and really appreciate all your book recommendations!

I absolutely hate pranks too, Kay, and really related to your experience at the aquarium - I would have been just as worried about the person, so you’re not alone.

Anna, the lyrics you have written are so beautiful!! I really enjoyed your poetry in Growing Up Disabled in Australia, so it’s lovely to read more of it.

I’m so glad you both had an amazing time at Sydney Writers Festival, and that the debutant experience was one to remember!

Thank you so much for creating The Overshare xo

Congratulations!

I really loved this first issue!

Honestly i also play songs on loop though i’m not autistic. There’s something about certain songs which makes you want to listen to them again and again!

The current song on loop is ‘just 14’ by Bella Lambert

She’s actually a rather unknown artist with a lovely voice and relatable lyrics!

Here’s the link to the song, give it a listen 🙂🙂

Anna, the poem was amazing!

Also the newsletter is also very accessible and i love it as a blind person 🥰🥰🥰

Loved your first newsletter. I was hooked on that Phoebe Bridgers song last year too, have been listening to 'The Metrologist' by Liz Stringer on a loop lately.
